This custom connector is a double-row, 14-pin, extended (17.1 mm) male header strip. We use this header to connect the LCD on the 3pi robot to the main PCB.

This connector is a double-row, 14-pin, extended male header strip. The extra-long pins have a length of 17.1 mm, which is 5.45 mm longer than typical 0.1" straight male header pins . The standard 0.1" spacing allows use with perforated prototyping PCBs and female headers .

This connector was specifically designed for connecting the LCD on the 3pi robot to the main PCB so that it can extend out over the rear battery holder. .
