This custom connector is a 0.1″-pitch, double-row, 14-pin, shortened (8.75 mm) male header strip. We use this header to connect the LCD on the Zumo 32U4 to the main PCB.
This connector is a double-row, 14-pin, low-profile male header strip. The shortened pins have a length of 8.75 mm, which is 2.9 mm shorter than typical 0.1″ straight male header pins , and the plastic case is 1 mm thinner than on standard male headers. The standard 0.1″ spacing allows use with perforated prototyping PCBs and female headers .
This connector was specifically designed for connecting the LCD on the Zumo 32U4 to the low-profile female LCD header on the main PCB.
